From the founder - Kim Swanson
Kim Swanson, based on over 20 years of experience owning and operating a Packaging & Shipping Franchise, found there was a need in the market place. She was also an agent for a well known Truck & Trailer rental company. When customers returned their rental trucks they would complain about how much it cost them in money, time and damage. They wished they could afford a mover.
"When I called every mover and could only get a "guesstimate" price, I was frustrated. Everyone I know moved themselves because they couldn't afford major moving company's price. hourly pricing leaves you not knowing how much your move will cost. You're dependent on weather conditions and the condition of the movers - How fast will they move? So we developed Apartment Movers etc's pricing system!" said Kim.
Pricing is done by phone using a specially designed computer system. The price is guaranteed to be equal or less than an hourly move price. You call with your moving conditions and the items you want AME to move. They help you arrive at a price you can afford. You basically name your own price by how much you are willing to do yourself. Apartment Movers etc. can move everything or just 1 piece, whatever your needs. The movers wear Apartment Movers etc shirts, they're polite, fast and efficient and have clean trucks. They don't just service the apartment community as their name suggests. We specialize in small, partial moves; both residential and commercial. However, no job's too big or small, they move it all!
